
Unlocking the bootloader will trigger a full factory data reset, erasing all photos, contacts, downloaded files, and app data.
Ensure you backup all important files to a cloud drive or computer.
Make sure your OPPO Find X8 Pro battery is charged to at least 60% before proceeding.
1. Open 'Settings' on your OPPO Find X8 Pro.
2. Navigate to 'About Device' > 'Version'.
3. Tap on 'Build Number' 7 times until you see the notification 'You are now in Developer Mode!'.
4. Go back to 'Settings' > 'Additional Settings' > 'Developer Options'.
5. Toggle ON both 'OEM Unlocking' and 'USB Debugging'.
1. Download and install the official OPPO In-Depth Test APK for ColorOS 15 / Android 15.
2. Open the In-Depth Test app and tap 'Apply Now / Submit Application'.
3. Read and agree to the disclaimer terms and submit your application.
4. Wait for server verification approval (status usually updates within minutes).
5. Once approved, tap 'Start the in-depth test' — your phone will reboot directly into Fastboot Mode.
1. Connect your phone to your PC via a USB cable.
2. Open Command Prompt or PowerShell inside the extracted 'platform-tools' folder on your PC.
3. Execute the command below to verify communication with Fastboot:

1. A warning prompt will appear asking if you want to unlock the bootloader.
2. Use the Volume Down key to highlight 'UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER'.
3. Press the Power button to confirm.
Your device will now wipe all user data and initiate the bootloader unlocking process.
If the device does not reboot automatically after formatting, run the command below:
